I attended Stanford University, receiving my B.A. degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Health & Development. I later received my M.S.W. degree from University of California, Berkeley.
I have worked in numerous Bay Area social service and mental health agencies and am very familiar with Bay Area resources.
I have been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples, as well as Motivational Interviewing (MI), among other models of psychotherapy.
I am bilingual and bicultural, and speak Spanish fluently, and conduct therapy in Spanish as well.
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Queer Therapists of Color (QTOC) and Gaylesta.
Yo asistí a la Universidad de Stanford, recibiendo mi licenciatura en Psicología, con una especialización en Salud y Desarrollo. Más tarde recibí mi Maestría en Trabajo Social (MSW) de la Universidad de California, Berkeley.
He trabajado en numerosos agencias de servicios sociales y agencias de salúd mental en el Área de la Bahia y estoy muy familiarizado con los recursos de esta zona.
